Job Description
The Operations Manager will oversee daily manufacturing & warehouse operations ensuring that efficiency, profitability, safety, and exceptional quality & service standards are successfully achieved. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, direct resource allocation, and inventory management to meet customer demands. Additionally, they will foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience in a key leadership role in a manufacturing environment with a strong preference for experience with metal fabrication. You should have relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in a similar field/industry. Solid knowledge and demonstrated application of manufacturing and fabrication processes are essential. Understanding of automation of manufacturing systems would be an asset, as well as technical competence with ERP systems and other common manufacturing-related software.
