Acupuncturist (Part Time Reproductive Acupuncturist)

Job Posting: Part-Time Associate Acupuncturist

Start Date for Training: February 2025, no later than March 10, 2025

Position Overview:

This part-time position starts at 2 days per week, transitioning to 3-4 days by April or May due to a team member's maternity leave. Shifts are 6 hours: Tuesday/Thursday 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM and Wednesday/Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Days/shifts may be negotiable for the right candidate. Training begins in February or March 2024, with gradual transition to independent patient care after 2 weeks of onboarding.

• Shifts are 6 hours: Tuesday/Thursday 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM and Wednesday/Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Days/shifts may be negotiable for the right candidate.
• $42-44 per patient starting depending on experience, with the ability to make up to $126-132/hour
• Non-patient hours include $22-24/hour administrative pay DOE. Off-site IVF transfer acupuncture bonus commission available.
• 20% commission on retail and herbal prescriptions; quarterly bonus from Fullscript sales

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain individualized treatment care plans; communicate clearly with patient and team
• Provide acupuncture treatments with a focus on fertility, reproductive health, and mind-body medicine; may include cosmetic acupuncture (approximately 10% of practice) depending on experience.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and administrative team to ensure exceptional patient experiences.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with strong expertise in reproductive health, fertility, and IVF/ART support.
• ABORM certification preferred.
• California State Acupuncture License (active and in good standing).
• Strong passion for and experience in fertility acupuncture and mind-body medicine.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with willingness to follow clinic systems
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Training in cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling is a plus but not required.
• Experience in ordering and reading basic blood panels.
• Experience with Fullscript a plus
• Ability to see 2-3 patients per hour.
