Medicare Coordinator / Medical Assistant for Primary Care

Looking for a friendly, dependable, energetic and an Experienced FULL TIME Medicare Coordinator Assistant for a busy Primary Care/Internal Medicine Practice in our Keller office.

The position we are looking to fill requires a person with excellent customer service, attention to detail, positive attitude, and willing to travel to our other locations if needed. Our new team member should be able to work independently or with the team, and able to motivate others. The position hours are 8:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review charts a day prior to see if patient are eligible for; advanced directives, cognitive exams, attestations, RPM(Remote Patient Monitoring) or CCM(Chronic Care Management).
• Respond promptly to patient’s calls, emails, or encounters regarding any abnormal vitals, referral questions, or general questions.
• Communicate closely with providers for those patients who have abnormal vitals.
• Spend time and keep a close relationship with patients about their monthly/daily progress.
• Know the importance of each program Be Well offers for Medicare patients.
• Knowledge in Microsoft 365 ex. SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
• Spend time with patients on the phone and also spend time face to face with patients.

Education & Experience needed:

· High School Graduate or Equivalent

· 2-5 years’ experience in an outpatient doctor's office is preferable but not required.

· EMR, preferably eClinical Works

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be detail oriented and demonstrate time management skills

· Ability to multi-task while remaining focused upon providing exceptional patient care & service

· Professional appearance and demeanor

References/Background check required. Pay based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
