What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stewards position at Beach House Hilton Head?
Responsibilities:
- Help check in daily orders against invoices
- Practice Daily rotation of product
- Keep chef apprised of outs, lows or turning product
- Organize food products according to mapping
- Upkeep of daily pars in dry storage, walk-in, and chemical areas
- Maintain organization of loading dock
- Daily upkeep and cleaning of kitchen and surrounding areas
- Responsible for safety of floors, i.e., water, spills, or grease
- Complete weekly, biweekly, or monthly projects
- Assist chefs with basic food prep if interested in learning
Requirements:
- Able to share in working weekends and holidays
- Leads a balanced home and work life and is always ready for the day
- Shows up for work on time
- Follows grooming standards
- Stays positive under stressful situations
