- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Previous experience in maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in awkward positions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain.
- Must be comfortable working near or in water.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain water slides, pools, fountains, lazy rivers, water filtration systems, and related equipment for proper operation.
- Conduct regular safety checks to identify wear and tear, corrosion, and other issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, including pumps, water filtration systems, and water rides.
- Document all maintenance and repair work performed, including materials used and time spent.
- Monitor and repair safety barriers, railings, signage, and other structures to meet safety standards.
- Perform emergency repairs as needed, including addressing water leaks, electrical faults, and mechanical failures.
- Work closely with management and other staff members to prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., guest services) regarding any ongoing maintenance activities that may impact guest experience.
- Properly use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, etc.), power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.), and specialized waterpark tools (such as valve controllers and water testing kits) for daily maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tools is essential for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure all tools are maintained, cleaned, and stored in proper locations after each use to prevent damage and ensure long-term usability.
- Be familiar with and proficient in using specialized equipment such as high-pressure washers, water pumps, and filtration systems, as well as tools specific to waterpark maintenance.
- Use equipment for tasks like cleaning slides, checking water filtration systems, and ensuring water pressure levels are appropriate for optimal function.
