JOB OVERVIEW:

Ready to make some waves and help turn the tide? Beaches Tanning Center is on the lookout for a creative and dynamic Social Media B2B Specialist eager to spread the warmth of our brand throughout the local online community, drive engagement, cultivate meaningful relationships with influencers local businesses, and ultimately drive more traffic into our physical locations.

As the Social Media B2B Specialist, you'll be primarily responsible for managing and executing social media strategies across all platforms and managing our influencer program. You'll create engaging, on-brand content and attention-grabbing ads that resonates with our target audience, increases brand visibility, and converts our online followers into in-store visitors. You'll cultivate relationships with micro and nano influencers to drive organic brand advocacy, monitor influencer activity, and evaluate partnership effectiveness. You'll cultivate relationships with local businesses to help support and/or coordinate B2B opportunities that align with our brand values and drive traffic into our physical stores. Ultimately, you'll work closely with the marketing team to ensure our social media efforts contribute to overall business goals and brand values. Pretty rad, right?

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Content Creation & Curation:

• Create and curate visually appealing content (photos, videos, graphics) that aligns with Beaches Tanning Center's brand values.
• Plan and schedule content across all platforms, ensuring consistency and high engagement.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead monthly or bi-monthly content shoots.

Brand Voice Consistency:

• Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all platforms that reflects Beaches Tanning Center's identity-fun, approachable, and customer-focused.
• Create thoughtful, meaningful, and engaging captions with great attention to detail, ensuring correct messaging, spelling, grammar, use of hashtags, etc.

Audience Engagement:

• Actively engage with followers through comments, direct messages, and interactions to build a strong, loyal community and encourage store visits.
• Build meaningful relationships and creatively engage with Beaches employees to encourage participation in content creation and supporting social media marketing efforts.

Drive Traffic to Physical Locations:

• Create and execute campaigns designed to incentivize online followers to visit physical locations, such as exclusive promotions, groups, giveaways, and location-specific events.

Social Media Advertising:

• Strategically create and manage paid social media ad campaigns, targeting specific audiences to increase awareness, engagement, and in-store visits.

Performance Monitoring & Analytics:

• Track, analyze and report on social media performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to improve engagement and reach.

Influencer Partnerships & Collaborations:

• Influencer Program Oversight: Manage and negotiate partnerships with influencers and creators to promote Beaches Tanning Center's services and products.
• Track & Monitor Performance: Track influencer effectiveness, monitor content quality, and provide feedback to ensure alignment with brand goals and messaging.
• Maximize Impact: Build strong relationships with influencers to optimize campaigns and increase engagement, driving more awareness and in-store visits.

B2B Opportunities:

• Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, use social media platforms to identify, engage, and coordinate with potential business partners, fostering B2B collaborations that enhance brand visibility and create cross-promotional opportunities.
• Manage relationships and explore joint ventures to expand the Beaches Tanning Center network.

Event Promotion & Live Coverage:

• Promote and provide live coverage of in-store events, pop-ups, or special promotions, encouraging real-time engagement and foot traffic.

Trend Research & Adaptation:

• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates, adapting content strategies to remain fresh and relevant.

Cross-Promotional Opportunities:

• Collaborate with marketing, email, and in-store teams to ensure social media aligns with other promotional campaigns and drives a unified customer experience.
• Seek opportunities and feedback from other Beaches employees, such as in-store employees, Marketing Ambassadors, Department heads, maintenance, and more for content ideas, creation, and participation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 years of demonstrated experience in social media management, content creation, or similar roles for tanning, beauty, wellness, fashion, or related field
• A clear, concise, fun, and engaging writing style
• Awesome sense of humor - we have a fun work culture and want to keep it that way!
• Exceptional ability to create relatable, high-quality content examples!
• Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
• Able to work both independently and with a team
• Proficient in CapCut, Canva or similar content development programs
• Skilled with image creation, visual storytelling, and maintaining brand standards
• Proficient and efficient in content creation with the ability to connect with our target audience through trending content and formats
• Keen awareness of social media trends, technology, and best practices
• Comfortable multitasking various creative campaigns and projects
• Highly creative, collaborative, positive, and proactive
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Physical demands: must be able to lift 30 lbs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time
