Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience, be certified (VT or CVT), and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain thorough patient history and record keeping
- Client communication and education
- Animal restraint and assisting with physical exams
- Provide patient care, including administering medications and performing laboratory tests
- Venipuncture, ability to place IV catheters
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment
- Radiography – animal positioning
- Dental cleanings and dental radiography
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent (required)
- Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 Year (required)
- Veterinary Technician Certification (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic towards animals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
