Genesis offers Intensive Outpatient Programs in Psychiatry, Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Couples Counseling, Outpatient Group Therapy, Substance Abuse/Mental Health Evaluations.
Purpose
To ensure accurate and efficient registration of patients in the Beacon Outpatient Management clinic, including entering demographic and insurance information, collecting patient responsibility at the time of service, and scheduling appointments.
CORE RESPONSIBILIES
Personnel are expected to participate in appropriate continuing education as may be requested and/or required by their immediate Member of Management. In addition, personnel are expected to accept personal responsibility for other educational activities to enhance job related skills and abilities.

CORE RESPONSIBILIES
- Support and implement the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Beacon Management and its holdings.
- Uphold the policies and procedures associated with the position and the company overall.
- Greet the patient upon arrival in a courteous and professional manner.
- Confirm the patient’s full name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, and emergency contact information. Have the patient complete consent and corresponding paperwork.
- Enter or verify the demographic data.
- Request the patient’s insurance card and valid photo identification, scan/upload into the patient’s chart.
- Input the details into the patient’s chart in Insync, ensuring the policy number, group number, and insurance provider are accurate. Communicate discrepancies to RCM team.
