Beacon Behavioral Partners is looking for a committed and like-minded Spravato Technician who resonates with our mission to enrich our culture in the vibrant field of mental health. This part-time role involves afternoon shifts from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of weekend work if needed, providing support to The Neuropsychiatry & TMS Group based in Tampa, Florida.

What does the Spravato Technician do? (including but not limited to)
The Spravato technician conducts the nasal spray treatment (eskatamine). The Spravato Technician is tasked with providing administrative oversight and supervising patient care throughout the Spravato administration and treatment process. We also provide TMS Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of major depression.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Assisting with patient care and medication ordering from various pharmacies to each center
- Maintaining compliance with REMS, DEA, Med log audits, etc.
- Auditing Spravato Charts as needed
- Assisting with Spravato consults as needed
- Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions
- Providing education and information to patients regarding Spravato Treatment
- Conducting regular vitals checks on patients during Spravato treatment
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous medical assistant experience required.
Physical Demands
This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range are also required.
