About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Utilization Review Centralized Coordinator to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As the Utilization Review Centralized Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the utilization review process for our patients. You will work closely with our healthcare providers to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care while maximizing cost-effectiveness. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be essential to your success in this role. You will report to the Utilization Review Manager and work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in utilization review or related field
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in utilization review or case management
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the utilization review process for patients
- Responsible for creating Financial Agreements.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
