What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Paralegal position at Beacon Hill?
Beacon Hill Legal is actively seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal for a reputable, regional law firm client.
This role will be with the firms Charlotte office.
The position will become hybrid after initial training period.
Our client is seeking a corporate paralegal with the following experience / skillset :
- 5 years working as a corporate paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Paralegal Certification and North Carolina Notary preferred.
- Ability to effectively support a transactional / corporate group of multiple attorneys
- Experience providing attorneys support with due diligence for transactions such as public records searches, preparing and filing documents with Secretaries of State. Documents including UCC's articles of incorporation and amendments as well as securities filings
- Experience filing organizational forms with IRS. Forms include : 8832s, 1023s, S-Elections, and SS-4s.
- Knowledge of Corporate Transparency Act and Beneficial Ownership and information reports to FiCen.
- Experience assisting with formations of limited liability companies, partnerships, financing, corporate acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
