Job Title: Critical Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Simpsonville, SC
Shift: Third Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday)
Position Type: Long-Term Contract with Potential for Full-Time Employment

Beacon Hill is hiring a Critical Infrastructure Engineer for a long-term contract role in Simpsonville, SC. This on-site, third shift position (Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) offers the potential for full-time conversion with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain critical infrastructure for the data center, including rack and stack, switch gear, UPS, generators, PDUs (breaker panels), and CDUs (power strips).


• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a fast-paced environment.


• Perform preventive maintenance on data center systems to ensure uptime.


• Follow established procedures for system checks, upgrades, and installations.


• Work closely with team members, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a data center environment.


• Familiarity with critical infrastructure systems, including UPS, PDUs, switch gear, and generators.


• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data center operations and hardware maintenance.


• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network ).

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.


• On-site role with a 5-day workweek.


• Long-term contract with potential for full-time conversion.
