Litigation Paralegal

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in Oklahoma City for an Am Law 200 full-service law firm. The ideal candidate will have prior trial experience and a minimum of five years' of experience as a Litigation Paralegal. This opportunity is direct hire, full time, and fully on-site.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Compile, prepare, and summarize relevant materials for discovery
• Assist with court filings, including cite and fact-checking legal briefs, cross-referencing, confirming proper Bluebook citation, proofreading, and assembling exhibits and appendices
• Review documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines
• Track and control document discovery, including documents produced and received
• Index, track, and control exhibits and other materials at depositions and trials
• Coordinate trial set-up and logistics, liaising with internal departments and outside vendors
• Summarize depositions and other transcripts
• Work closely with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation
• Support attorneys during trial, including creating demonstratives and providing courtroom presentation/support

Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree preferred
• Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate with a minimum of five years of comparable work experience required
• Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Working knowledge of office accounting methods and techniques, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and the ability to learn other programs
• Proven ability to conduct independent research
• Prepare and understand financial accounts and other financial and statistical reports
• Ability to understand tax forms, including federal tax returns and schedules
