What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Paralegal?
Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Litigation paralegal with prior trial experience and a minimum of five (5) years of paralegal experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys in discovery;
- Indexing, tracking, and controlling case related materials;
- Working knowledge of the Oklahoma Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing procedures and processes;
- Reviewing documents for relevance and inclusion in case file;
- Assist with the preparation of court filings, including cite and fact checking legal briefs, cross-reference checks, confirming proper Bluebook citation, proofreading, and assembling of exhibits and appendices;
- Reviewing documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria;
- Tracking and controlling document discovery (including documents produced and received in discovery);
- Indexing, tracking, and controlling exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial;
- Coordinating trial set-up and logistics as well as serving as liaison among various internal departments as well as with outside vendors, such as translation services, document production vendors and trial graphics providers;
- Summarizing depositions and other transcripts;
- Working closely and directly with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation; and
- Additional responsibilities include supporting attorneys during trial, including assistance with creation of demonstratives and courtroom presentation / support.
