Crowe Dunlevy has an opening for a Distribution Clerk / Messenger. This is an entry-level position serving on our Office Services Team. Hours are 9 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Pick up, sort, and distribute interoffice mail and deliveries.
Delivery and / or pickup of items for firm business at various locations within the metro area with occasional trips out of town.
Travels to delivery site on foot, automobile or public conveyance.
Filing of documents at courthouses, submission of documents to judges and other court personnel, follow up on items submitted for approval to same, familiarizing oneself with online services to assist in these duties, and keeping firm staff informed of the status of submitted and filed documents when needed.
Operation of postage meters and preparation of overnight items for FedEx ,UPS and other shipping services.
Deliver outgoing mail and overnight items to the Post Office and overnight shipping drop off locations.
Act as back up and relieves on HelpDesk in Administrative Services department, as needed.
Various other administrative tasks as may be assigned by the department supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education and / or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year minimum related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have valid driver's license, clear motor vehicle report and automobile insurance.
