Project Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of project accounting and billing for multiple projects, including invoicing, budget tracking, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue monthly invoices, including for complex projects (e.g., SCA, TBTA, MTA)
• Manage billing, revenue recognition, and cost allocation for projects
• Track and resolve accounts receivable, billing discrepancies, and overdue payments
• Set up new projects with accurate financial details and ensure budget accuracy
• Process subconsultant invoices and manage relationships with consultants
• Prepare financial reports, cash flow projections, and budget analysis for Project Managers
• Reconcile project financials at project closeout
• Assist with Deltek reports and provide training on Deltek use

Requirements:

• 5 years of project accounting experience, preferably in architecture or design firms
• Proficiency in Deltek Vision is required
• Strong knowledge of project financials, accounting principles, and billing practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams

Salary: $90k - $110k
Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
