What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proposal Sales Enablement Specialist position at Beacon Hill?
Our client, in the financial space, is looking to add a Proposal Sales Enablement Specialist to their team. This is a 6 month contract role with the potential to extend and can be remote or 2 days onsite in Boston, MA.
The candidate is someone who is:
- Highly analytical with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrates strong institutional and investment background (alternative investment or private wealth background a plus).
- Brings excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
- Focus on delivering first-class sales support to internal business partners
- Ability to think critically and draws from resources to build simple, unified, and persuasive output.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaborative.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; and RFP software is a plus
What you will do:
- Responsible for RFPs, RFIs, due diligence requests and other client related requests including consultant portals and fundraising inquiries.
- An investment writer who works with functional teams to support response coordination of the RFP process
- Serve as project lead and facilitates kick-off meetings, communicate key tasks, using approved content, and coordinate with essential team members to complete the prospective investor requests.
- Coordinate with Marketing Compliance to ensure responses follow SEC marketing guidelines, when applicable.
- Provide Sales Enablement support for Investor Relations for the Firm's global offices.
- Collaborate with internal functional teams (including, but not limited to investments, operations, legal/compliance, etc.) as appropriate to respond to various investor inquires.
- And other responsibilities as required.
What you bring:
- Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and RFP software. Loopio is a plus.
- Institutional investment management, private equity or private wealth experience is a plus.
- Prior marketing or sales support roles
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 3-5 Years experience in investment management/private equity/private wealth/marketing/RFP capacity preferred
