Senior Payroll Specialist - REMOTE
We are assisting a bio-pharmaceutical company in their search for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with Workday experience to take charge of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle payroll process for over 300 multi-state employees using Workday.
- Ensure payroll processes are efficient and compliant with all federal and state regulations.
- Process bonus requests and manage payroll reporting.
- Generate audit reports and prepare preliminary payroll reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Assist with year-end projects and audits as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with experience using Workday.
- Comfort in handling the payroll process independently.
- Strong understanding of bi-weekly payroll, primarily for salaried employees, with a few hourly workers.
