Summary
Family in the Dallas area seeking compassionate, experienced Direct Support Professional to provide in home and community support for their son living at home. DSP will provide 2:1 support, have experience with non-verbal communicators and Individuals with Autism. DSP's will use positive approaches to re-direct challenging behaviors, provide supervision and companionship on community outings, and assist with promoting skills to increase independence. Duties:
Assist with ADL as needed
Provide Supervision
Work collaborative with another DSP
Document goals worked on as defined in ISP
Must Have:
valid PA drivers license , registered vehicle
be a minimum of 18 years of age
willing to participate in a background check
experience in working with Individuals with ASD, and implementing positive approaches
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
