Director of Catering & Event Sales

Relocation Required! Position is located near Morgantown, West Virginia. Relo assistance and temporary housing provided!

Beautiful, multifaceted, property providing expansive range of catering & events services (weddings, galas, large sale events, corporate retreats, intimate dinner parties) from high profile to casual. Equally strong mix of Social and Corporate business. An exciting opportunity to play a highly visible role for this established and successful property.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience selling in a variety of market segments as a Director or Senior Catering Sales Manager in a busy, quality focused Resort, Hotel or Event Venue.
• Proven track record of of success in sales and revenue growth
• Strong leadership & training abilities
• Demonstrated creativity in achieving clients vision by developing menus & functions from simple to complex.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Drive catering sales by soliciting new and existing clients
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
• Mentor and motivate your sales team
• Collaborate with all Senior leadership teams to deliver seamless event execution
• Be a proud and active hotel representative in local industry and community events
