Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with at least two years of employee engagement experience.
- Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and superior listening skills.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Ability to manage tasks independently as well as with a team and to effectively communicate with all level of employee.
- Organizational typing and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel and HRIS system(s).
Essential Functions
- Support and implement strategies as outlined in the ICARES program
- Responsible for ensuring clear communication with employees aligning with overall company and HR strategies.
- In collaboration with marketing communications, designs regular employee engagement communications to share with employees.
- Stay informed and aware of organizational operations and initiatives and identify areas where additional internal employee engagement communication is needed and develop a plan to meet those needs.
- Receive, review and approve disciplinary actions and provide sound advice to leadership with regard to adhering to the progressive disciplinary policy.
- Respond to phone calls and emails from employees and provide timely feedback and coordinate with leadership to provide resolution to any employee concerns.
- Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up to employees with regard to company policies, procedures.
- Complete exit interviews with Direct Care employees
- Provides unemployment information and attends hearings as necessary
- Monitors, Oversees and implements Corporate Retention Strategic Plan
- Submits Monthly turnover reports, tracks and provides feedback on trends
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Promotes and follows safety guidelines when performing work.
- Understands internal and external policies and follows employee rules of conduct and performance as set forth by Beacon – Keystone
- Promotes community awareness by demonstrating responsible, courteous behavior and a positive perception of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Participates in regulatory and agency in-service training.
- Any other HR tasks as assigned
