What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at Beacon Specialized Living Services?
Essential Duties:
- Lead strategic growth initiatives to rapidly recruit high potential staff to Beacon Specialized Living Services.
- Oversee the hiring, scheduling and conducting interviews, and on-boarding leading to the implementation of high-performance standards.
- Maintain a positive and empowering environment that both challenges employees to reach their potential and provides for a caring, people-first, atmosphere.
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Conducts recruitment effort for direct support professionals (DSP), CNA, and other hourly staff, researches new candidate sourcing opportunities, and writes and places advertisements.
Required Education and Experience
- One to Three years recruiting experience.
- A background in mental health or healthcare is a plus.
- Strong computer skills utilizing various software programs and applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the areas of employment law, compensation, benefits, and conflict resolution preferred.
- Ability to create professional employee communication materials.
- Capable of working well with all levels of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,888.00 - $45,000.00 per year
