Position: Systems Analyst
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote -Austin, Texas
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the necessary functional and technical resources when collaboration is required.
- lead analysis to re-engineer or develop processes necessary for efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
- Working with business customers to gather requirements for the system and/or process improvements and report development.
- Responsible for consistent use of project standardized processes and forms, including but not limited to, Functional Design Documents, Key Design Decisions, Change Controls, Risk and Issue log,Scope Documentation, Configuration Documentation, Business Process Flows, and other project documents as needed
- Provide input to project management to estimate the level of effort required for customer requested activities.
- Prepare detailed documentation in support of any of the activities listed above as requested by management.
- Complete full range of testing and configuration as needed.
- Design, Test and Build Queries to assist with business process improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
- Experience with CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reengineering best practices_10
- Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement_10
- Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms_10
- Experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas_10
- Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products_10
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing_10
- CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing, E-Procurement, AP, Cash Receipts, Inv, Assets and Grants_ 10
- PeopleSoft Financial modules implementation and post-go live experience with an emphasis on process improvement_ 10
- Leading Five (5) or more State Agency CAPPS Financial Implementations_5
- Familiar with TCAPPS configuration with TEA_2
Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
