Construction Laborer

At Beam Site Prep, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of paving and construction services throughout the CSRA. Our expertise spans residential and commercial asphalt paving, site work grading, utility installation, and concrete services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various on-site construction or paving tasks to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess physical stamina, a keen attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside skilled tradespeople to execute essential construction tasks, including utility installalation, grading work and paving.
• Hands-On Experience: Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites, gaining valuable practical experience.
• Work Environment: Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and ensuring proper tool storage.
• Safety First: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe workplace for all team members.
• Tool Mastery: Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision, enhancing your skill set.
• Versatile Role: Perform general labor tasks as directed by site supervisors or foremen, and assist daily operations on the job.

Requirements

• Experience Welcome: Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate!
• Physical Endurance: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality workmanship and commitment to excellence.
• Eager to Learn: Willingness to acquire new skills and techniques related to construction tasks.
• Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of safety practices in a construction environment is beneficial.
• Reliable Transportation: Dependable transportation to job sites is a must.
• Flexibility: Available to work varying hours, including potential overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
