Position Overview :
The Lead IT Technical Analyst, MES Systems role, reporting to the Director, IT Business Partner - Technical Operations, will have a lead role in implementing and providing ongoing support for Beam's Manufacturing Execution System implementation and will assist with other IT systems supporting manufacturing, automation, and supply chain in a rapidly growing organization. This role will directly impact Beam's ability to develop our therapies by helping to support and our gene therapy manufacturing facility in Durham, North Carolina.
This role will work with IT team members, functional business experts, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of Beam's MES system. The candidate will act as a business analyst, project manager, and technical lead for MES.
Responsibilities :
- IT lead for Beam's MES implementation that will be deployed to the Durham, North Carolina site, and the MES IT system administrator post go live.
- Assist with IT support of other systems supporting manufacturing.
- Lead efforts to improve Technical Operations business processes through integration between MES and other systems, such as SAP, QMS, & LIMS.
- Install, configure, and maintain SaaS, on-premise and hybrid solutions, adhering to GxP validation and Quality standards as required.
- Work with business leaders to define requirements for IT application and hardware solutions to enhance and support processes onsite.
- Provide on-call support, as required, for IT system issues when manufacturing operations are taking place.
