Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, social, and cognitive development
- Supervise and monitor children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to plan and implement daily schedules and routines
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of the children
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, such as in a daycare, preschool, or nanny role (2years)
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- Ability to multitask and handle the demands of a busy daycare environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
