Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including oil changes, air brake inspections, and other maintenance or repair work.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of services.
- Manage the service appointment schedule, ensuring optimal workflow in the service department.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding service progress, costs, and any additional recommendations.
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay informed about automotive products, services, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto service management or automotive sales is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and mechanics; experience as a mechanic or service technician is a plus.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to effectively transmit information to customers.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
