What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Office Manager position at Bear Mountain Health Care?
Bear Mountain at Worcester is seeking a Business Office Manager for our skilled nursing home. This is a full time, 40hr a week position, Monday-Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Deposits and post cash receipts daily.
Keeps financial folders of each resident current.
Assures that all pertinent personal and financial information is accurately recorded.
Receive admission, discharge and bed hold information for census and billing purposes.
Input all new admission into PCC software and run and tie out daily census reports.
Generates accurate bills to residents, families, responsible parties.
Communicates regularly with Utilization Review Nurse, Admissions and Social Services to maintain accurate billing information.
Reconcile Personal Needs Account bank statements, ensure withdrawal and deposits are processed daily, and quarterly statements are mailed, and complete annual reconciliation for resident Personal Needs Accounts.
Committed to working with residents and families and coordinate all conversions, and work with families to complete the MassHealth applications.
Demonstrates an understanding of Bear Mountains overall AR goals and objectives.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented.
1 years experience in data entry required.
Able to use Microsoft Office and other computer applications proficiently required
