About the Position.
This job is responsible for investigating, negotiating, and resolving no-fault personal injury auto accidents. You will be responsible to determine coverage, liability, comply with Medicare requirements, along with processing related covered damages up to the policy limit. This includes proper documentation and resolution of claims based upon the applicable law, policy coverage, and supporting evidence while complying with the guidelines of the Unfair Claims Practice Act. The individual must have excellent communication and organizational skills to properly and timely set customer expectations and explain applicable laws and coverages.
Job Qualifications:
· College degree or
· 1-2 years claims adjusting experience
· Understanding of the Utah Unfair Claims Practice Act
· Professional verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent problem solving, organizational, and computer skills.
· Strong customer service skills and a desire to help others.
· Ability to type 35 words p/minute or more
· Prior investigation background helpful
