Job Summary
Looking for a camp Director for our overnight camp in Easton in the Summer of 2025. Camp will run for a week. This is an overnight camp with the option of campers coming for the day.
Room, Board and all meals are included for directors that stay overnight with the staff and take on responsibilities. Directors have the option to not stay overnight, but will only have lunch included and a minor deduction in pay.
WE WILL NOT INTERVIEW ANYONE THAT PROVIDES A RESUME THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY OF YOUR QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION!!!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive camp program.
- Support with recruiting efforts of campers.
- Plan and organize daily activities, drills, competitions, and games for camp participants.
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of all campers.
- Provide instruction and guidance to campers on techniques and strategies.
- Supervise and manage camp coaching staff.
- Supervise campers while in the dorms and setting expectations.
- Ensuring that everyone is on time for all meals.
- Support the Site Director with maintain accurate attendance records.
- Support with the Arrival and dismissal procedures.
- Communicate with Site Director all camp concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all camp policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Support with planning night activities.
- Perform any other additional administrative duties assigned by the Site Director when necessary.
Experience
- Current or former college/high school coach.
- Current or former professional player.
- Proven experience working with athletes in an educational or recreational setting is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with campers, parents, and staff.
- A passion for educating youth and fostering their development in a camp environment.
