Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution.

Essential Duties
The Continuing Education Instructor works cooperatively with BCCC staff to perform the following:
- Prepare and teach assigned courses in accordance with course syllabus. Prepare, review, and update course syllabus on a regular basis.
- Develop and update curriculum for drone training courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Deliver engaging lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and practical exercises to students of varying skill levels. Provide personalized guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Ensure safety protocols are followed during practical drone flying sessions.
- Maintain accurate registration, attendance, and payroll records for each course taught.
- Stay current with advancements in drone technology, regulations, and applications, incorporating relevant updates into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of the drone training program.
- Submit required reports and fulfill all contract provisions.
- Assist with maintaining a classroom environment emphasizing safety, good housekeeping, and equipment security.
- Maintain student, instructor, and staff confidentiality. Consistently monitor work area to ensure instructor and student data is being protected according to Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments in a positive manner.
- Participate in professional development activities designed to enhance job skills and knowledge, as agreed upon by the employee and supervisor.
