Position Ultrasound Technologist- Beaufort Physician Partners Location BPP Obstetrics & Gynecology Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift Days Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Description Under the supervision of the Physicians and the Practice Manager the employee is responsible for performing all ultrasound examinations, assisting with work flow, assisting Physicians with ultrasound scans, fetal anatomy, Fetal Doppler, Bio-Physical Profiles, Transvaginal ultrasounds, assist with Infertility work-ups, Sonhysteograms , Gynecological scans and other imaging as directed by the Physicians. Employee is also responsible for assisting with maintenance of equipment. Responsible for reporting Ultrasound findings to the Physicians and pulling images and importing into the PAC S imaging software system. Must be able to work under stressful conditions and be sensitive to patient needs and concerns. Use good decision-making when deciding most likely diagnosis from patient’s clinical history, lab studies, and ultrasound exam results. Employee must be discreet and follow confidentiality guidelines. Position Requirements

Education:
- Degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or Ultrasound/Sonography
Experience:
- Prefer 2 years’ experience in OB Ultrasound in Hospital or Private Practice setting
Certifications/Licenses:
- Maintains licensure as needed for professional position, ARDMS certification required. Nuchal Translucency Certification preferred.
