The YMCA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Water Aerobics Instructor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Lead engaging fitness classes that cater to diverse skill levels and promote overall health and wellness.
- Develop and implement effective training programs tailored to individual or group needs.
- Provide instruction on proper techniques for exercises and movements to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their fitness goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout space, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, nutrition, and wellness to enhance program offerings.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by encouraging teamwork and camaraderie among participants.
Experience
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of physiology and program design principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with various fitness modalities such as water aerobics instructor training is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
