Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in patient care, examination, and treatment while ensuring efficient clinic operations as well as assist in new psychiatric research.
Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and administering medications.
- Handle administrative duties including patient scheduling, medical record documentation, Prior authorizations and insurance verification.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in coding and billing procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical setting and medical assisting certification or degree required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment such as a hospital or clinic.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
