What are the responsibilities and job description for the AIM Mold Maintenance Instructor position at Beaumont Technologies, Inc.?
Position Summary:
The AIM Mold Maintenance Instructor (either full time, part time or contract employee) will be tasked with helping to develop and teach existing courses, develop new courses and content as directed, as well as conduct research related to the mold maintenance. Instruction would include in-person and online courses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Instruct in existing and future courses:
- In-person at AIM
- Online at AIM
- Off-site (travel required)
- Prepare and maintain the classroom and maintenance areas
- Set up the shop with correct molds/equipment per class
- Prepare molds as needed for the labs (example, “shoot” hot runner molds)
- Prepare classroom as needed (example, table and chair arrangement, props, etc…)
- Ability to disassemble/reassemble and repair all classroom molds as needed to either help students, fix issues or create issues for students to find
- Develop course content as needed
o Regularly evaluate, modify and upgrade content in reaction to new knowledge
· Help to maintain and keep the training rooms clean and professional
- Research & Development (R&D)
- Conduct assigned R&D alone and with other AIM personnel as required
- Write reports/publish on R&D
- Present R&D as needed at various technical conferences (travel required)

- Student correspondence
- Respond to student emails and questions in a timely manner
- Ensure students feel comfortable
- Ensure students have a quality education experience
- Manage all instructional materials within the Document Management System
- Assist with sales and marketing of the courses to help ensure full classes
- Phone calls, emails
- Attend tradeshows as needed
- Present at technical conferences as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in injection mold maintenance
- Participated in or led tool room improvements, such as culture, mold efficiencies, shop layout, documentation practices, etc...
- Able to communicate complicated subjects in easy to understand terms
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Previous management or supervisory experience in an injection mold maintenance shop preferred
- Previous instructor/teaching role is preferred
- Knowledge of MoldTrax Mold Maintenance Software is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
