Wire EDM operator/programmer
Quality Mold Erie is a fast paced and progressive plastic injection mold manufacturing facility located in Erie Pennsylvania. With our rapid growth we are currently seeking multiple positions that include a CNC (Wire EDM) programmer/operator. This position is responsible for daily operations that include but are not limited to.
· Set-ups, programming
· maximizing wire EDM machine utilization and unattended time.
· Assisting in and involvement with developing and progressing a wire EDM department
· Ability to run multiple machines
Education and experience
· College Degree/ high school diploma OR equivalent experience in plastic injection mold manufacturing environment
· 5-7 years of related experience leading and assembly of injection molds and related tooling, understanding of mold prints and inspection
· Mastercam/Visi wire and or mill programming experience
· Ability to work in and build a team environment
· Attention to detail and proficiency in time management and communication
