What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Manager position at Beaumont Urgent Care?
- Train all new back-office employees on radiology safety and positioning, as well as, systems/applications, and Piedmont Urgent Care processes and workflows during classroom & in-clinic training sessions.
- Monitor and guide new employees, including one-on one training to ensure proficiency with imaging best practices.
- Develop and update appropriate educational resources to support clinical staff in execution of safe and proficient imaging
- Works with Practice Managers, SDO and SMD on developmental needs for clinical team.
- Identify opportunities for individual and program improvement through periodic audits and quality reviews.
- Manage training records for individual clinical team members.
- Provide periodic updates to Practice Managers on individual progress with initial training / re-training.
- Will be asked periodically to present progress and findings to leadership team.
- Provide clinical x-ray support during all hours of operation
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience
Required- 2 year(s): 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist R.T. (R)
Licenses & Certifications
Required- XRAY Certification
Salary : $60,800 - $76,900
