Who We Are:
Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in Breckenridge, Colorado - the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Nestled between the mountain and Main Street, at Beaver Run you're just a few steps away from the ski slopes in the winter and the hiking trails in the summer. With 40,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces, Beaver Run is the largest conference center in Breckenridge with the most scenic views and most professional team, services and amenities.
What You'll Do:
The Front Desk Lead is a vital part of our organization. Often the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Lead must first and foremost provide excellent, friendly service to our guests. The Lead will assist with preparing check-in packets; checking in and checking out guests; answering questions and addressing concerns; and handling transactions at the front desk. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced and often stressful environment while maintaining a friendly disposition throughout. This position will handle elevated tasks from an agent like room moves, guest relations, and will oversee the agents to ensure processes are being followed by our standard operating procedures. The Lead will also be responsible for training new staff. Housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis based on position.
Position starts at $21.00/hrs. DOE
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of check-in packets and folios
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Act as primary point-of-contact for guests
- Communicate with other departments such as Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, etc. to inform them of any guest needs or issues
- Accurately handle transactions at Front Desk
- Train new staff members
- Guest relations work including room moves and addressing guest complaints and concerns
- Lead team members to maintain a tidy and positive work environment
- Enforce our “House Rules”
- Help to develop and maintain standard operating procedures
What You'll Bring
- 1 years front desk/customer service experience - required
- 1 years cash handling experience - required
- Experience with Springer Miller hotel management software - preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - preferred
- Proficiency in written and spoken English - require
