Who We Are:
Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in Breckenridge, Colorado - the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Nestled between the mountain and Main Street, at Beaver Run you're just a few steps away from the ski slopes in the winter and the hiking trails in the summer. With 40,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces, Beaver Run is the largest conference center in Breckenridge with the most scenic views and most professional team, services and amenities.
What You'll Do:
As a Concierge, you will be providing our guests with a warm welcome and assisting them with their needs throughout their stay. Your role is to ensure that every guest has a seamless and enjoyable experience by offering personalized services and local recommendations. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills are necessary to succeed in this role. This position works at the front desk, interacting with our guests prior to arrival and during their stay. Duties include, but are not limited to: Grocery delivery, amenity delivery, arranging activities and transportation, guest relations, providing information and recommendations on local features, attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and recreation, and arranging special services. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. This position is located on premises in Breckenridge, CO.
Position starts at $20 - $24 an hour DOE Commissions
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, friendly welcome.
- Develop a network of contacts, service providers, and businesses within our community to help service our guests.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide information about the hotel, its amenities, and local attractions.
- Make reservations for dining, entertainment, and transportation.
- Arrange for special services such as spa appointments, tours, and activities.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally with a customer-focused orientation.
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the local area, including restaurants, shops, and events.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Keep accurate records of guest requests and follow up to ensure completion.
- Assist with luggage and other guest needs as required.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED - required
- 2 years concierge experience – required
- 2 years hospitality experience – required
- Familiarity with Springer Miller or other property management systems – preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook – required
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken – required
