What You'll Do:
The Reservations Assistant Manager will assist the Reservations Manager by overseeing all aspects of hotel reservations including interdepartmental communication, owner reservations, and all wholesale, group and individual reservations, supervise reservations operations, and manage rates and inventory on hotel's website. This position will also be responsible for assuring smooth flow of information between the reservations and front desk department. Other responsibilities may include tracking sales, reporting phone volume, auditing agent calls, and maintaining travel agent and group commissions. This candidate will be asked to help with end of month reporting and will be overseeing the agents, both monitoring and assisting with side work and taking calls. The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills including listening and talking on the phone, interacting in person, and written communication via email.
Position starts at $58,000/yr DOE
What You'll Bring:
- Previous hotel or condominium management experience.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn property management software and utilize 10-key essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to communicate both written and verbal in Spanish is preferred but not required
