Plan, coach and administer all field construction activities while maintaining frequent communication with President and other departments.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages and administers field activities including setting goals and objectives for staff supervisors pursuant to approved plans, specifications, master contracts, building codes, and company development schedule and cost budgets.
- Supervises, directs and coaches direct reports, including managing other functions as required by Region/Division organizational structure.
- Ensures staff receives training on and follows Company and Region/Division construction, quality control and safety methods and procedures.
- Coordinates schedules, construction staff and production with President and senior staff to accomplish goals and objectives of business plan.
- Maintains frequent communication with President and other departments; has department meetings to keep current with and to disseminate information to staff; has pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and staff.
Education & Experience
- Ten years in construction with strong background in supervision and personnel management.
- High School graduate or equivalent. College graduate preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to motivate, supervise and coordinate field and office staff on daily basis.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Extensive knowledge of on-site and off-site construction procedures.
Physical Requirements
- May have occasion to lift/carry and/or push/pull 25 pounds.
- Typical office environment.
- Construction sites where temperature, weather and noise may vary; may encounter electrical, dust, poor ventilation, dangerous machinery and moving objects and toxic conditions.
