The Food Safety and Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety are instilled within our plant. This position is responsible for overseeing the food safety and quality programs, processes, and procedures at assigned sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of HACCP compliance at facilities
- Development, implementation, review, and maintenance of SQF Programs
- Performance of internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance of food safety protocols
- Validation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and other SQF programs
- Personnel training on HACCP, SQF, and GMP's
- Management of consumer inquiries and complaints
- Maintenance of positive working relationships with USDA representatives, auditors, suppliers, and management members
