Key Responsibilities
- Support individual experts in cost/benefit analysis, budget development, and constraint identification.
- Develop project concepts into detailed project plans, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee the Capital Expenditure Request process.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors for capital projects.
- Evaluate project success or failure based on initial proposals.
- Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, driving improvements in capital projects, operations, new product development, and quality targets.
- Lead and coach process engineers, ensuring high-quality engineering, process trials, and validation programs.
- Coordinate the addition of new Process Logic Controllers, Distributed Control Systems, SCADA Systems, and Human Machine Interface Systems.
- Collaborate with plant personnel to drive best practice manufacturing improvement efforts.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Over 10 years of experience in engineering/project management.
- At least 5-7 years of supervisory experience over engineers.
- Prior experience in Mineral processing, Cement, or Chemical industries is preferred.
- Frequent travel may be required.
