This is a critical role in our industrial water treatment operation, requiring a high level of skill and expertise. As a water treatment operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating various systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitoring and maintenance of water treatment systems, pumps, and piping
- Collection and analysis of water samples to ensure quality standards are met
- Adjustment of metering pumps as necessary to maintain optimal system performance
- Operating small equipment such as forklifts and skid steers
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production staff
**Requirements**
- Minimum 1-year experience in general labor or heavy manufacturing environments
- Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor environment with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions
