Job Summary
This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced educator to join our team as a Sports Medicine Teacher. As a member of the faculty, you will be responsible for teaching physical fitness, sports medicine, and injury prevention to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum based on guidelines established by the state and federal regulations.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate student progress through teacher-made tests, standardized tests, and other performance assessments.
Requirements
- Valid Arkansas teaching license for the grade level or subject area assigned - Sports Medicine (625).
- Licensed in Arkansas to practice as an Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology/Science.
- Ability to perform duties while following district policies, state, and federal regulations, guidelines, and laws.
