Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, including fit-up and track welding, as well as reading blueprints and determining critical dimensions and tolerances.
Main Responsibilities:
- Weld using M-I-G processes
- Burn using a hand torch
- Read and comprehend blueprints and process routings
- Determine critical dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools
- Follow established safety and quality procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational school training in welding preferred
- Experience in wire feed welding, MIG or TIG welding
- Ability to pass a preliminary weld test upon hiring and complete AWS.D1.1 Code welding certification within 60 days
