Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year.
This position will start August 14, 2025.
New Teacher Orientation will be held August 5, 6 and 7th.
This position entails casemanaging and teaching morning and afternoon class sessions of children ages 3 to 6 who qualify for an Individual Education Program. Typically developing peers are also integrated into the classroom.
A teaching contract is 187 days.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any area of Special Education
- Valid ND teaching certificate
- Valid ND credential in Early Childhood Special Education.
- Preference given to candidate with credentials in Deaf Education, however not required.
Applicants for teaching positions will be asked to complete the EPI Candidate Assessment. You should receive an email prompting you to complete this survey. This is timed and takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. You only need to complete the survey one time and then it will show as completed on all applications.
This posting is for external teaching applicants (this also includes current BPS employees in support staff/temporary/substitute positions). Current contracted part-time BPS teachers wanting a full-time position should also complete the external application.
