Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, interpreting schematics, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot HVAC/R issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Build and modify components as necessary for system improvements or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance and recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role in HVAC/R.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for service calls.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
