What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seed Supply Support Staff position at Beck's Superior Hybrids?
The Seed Supply Support Staff is a role meant to ensure quality and efficiency of seed corn and soybean processing through supporting comprehensive testing, quality assurance, and collaboration with the Seed Supply Specialists/Coordinators to optimize processing and production.

Responsibilities
- Assit with performing harvest lot corn shakeouts and determine appropriate sizing and screens for processing runs.
- Support in the shakeout process for Production team to analyze and evaluate field testing results.
- Document and report findings from all shakeouts.
- Collaborate with the quality lab by providing harvest lot shakeout samples to them.
- Collect finished samples, prepare, and submit them to quality lab for testing.
- Sample carryover seeds.
- Help the Seed Supply Specialists/Coordinators to optimize seed processing and production efficiency.
- Any other duties assigned or required by Beck’s.
Job Requirements
Education and training:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
Technical knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good attitude towards work
- Good working knowledge of computers and software used in data analysis and communication such as inventory tracking software.
- Working knowledge of seed handling equipment and conditioning
Travel and hours of work:
- Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s regional locations and may vary in duration of time.

Experience:
- Agricultural experience preferred.
- Experience with seed conditioning equipment preferred.
