Qualifications:

Efficient communication skills, both written and orally. Office Skills; thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment. Efficient word processing or data entry skills. The ability to perform and organize detailed work rapidly, accurately, and efficiently. The ability to maintain confidential and complex records.
1. High school diploma, or the equivalent.
2. Two years of increasingly responsible administrative experience.
3. Two years experience working with the public.
4. Two years working computer experience in word, excel and outlook is preferred.
Job Summary:
To perform in a timely and efficient manner confidential secretarial and administrative services within the agency for the director and supervisors. To handle special projects as assigned by the Agency Director and/ or Administrative Services Manager and to work independently, with minimal supervision, in accordance with established agency policy. Assists in handling external and internal affairs or matters; serves as liaison to the county Human Resource Department under the direction of the Administrative Services Manager.
Duties:
This position is responsible for general office duties and for performing responsible office support and administrative services. Position assists all units utilizing internal application tracking software (ATS) for hiring process and performs special projects for Administrative Services Manager and the Human Services Director.
Hours: Full-Time; 40 hours per week
Full Salary Range: $23.73 -$30.96 per hour; depending on experience, the position is eligible for a wide range of competitive benefits, including state pension plan, vacation time, sick time, personal and holiday leave time. In addition, the position is eligible for the County's cafeteria health plan, consisting of three health plans and carrier options; Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance; Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts; Long-Term and Short-Term Disability; Supplemental Accidental, Hospital, and Critical Illness plans; and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The County contributes monthly health benefits to aide in the rising of insurance costs with the contribution rate evaluated annually. Additionally, employees have the option to take part of the $734.15 contribution as cash in lieu of benefits.
